"But the Cat Came Back" Part 1 of 2. Script by Roger Stern. Art by John Romita Jr. (breakdowns) and Jim Mooney (finishes). Cover by John Romita Jr. and Al Milgrom. Because the fans demanded her, the Black Cat is back! And flirting and fighting with the web-slinger all over again! After Felicia escapes from the psychiatric hospital, she resumes her high-dollar heists! But soon realizes that it's not as much fun without Spider-Man chasing her! So the cat burglar extraordinaire arranges an evening rendezvous with her favorite wall-crawler at their first date location (from Amazing Spider-Man 194). Will the enchanting cat mesmerize the Spectacular Spider-Man once more? Or can the web-slinger resist her feline charms? An excellent issue! Cameo appearances by the Foolkiller and Captain Jean DeWolff. (Notes: This was a highly anticipated issue for fans of the wall-crawler; and Stern & Romita Jr. did not disappoint. The Black Cat previously appeared in Amazing Spider-Man 205. This story was reprinted in Spider-Man Megazine 2 and also in the trade paperback: Spider-Man vs. the Black Cat (2005). The back cover features a full-page ad for Dungeons & Dragons with art by Bill Willingham.)
